The apartment itself was good and matched expectations. Location is great for access to Boscastle and surrounds, provided you don’t mind the walk up the hill. Having parking close by is a bonus.
But, just getting into the apartment is the issue - overflowing bins at the door, flies in the hallway and stairs, which reeked of cigarette smoke and who-knows-what, really let the places down. We never saw the other residents but we certainly heard them. Thumps, bangs and loud arguments at all hours.
The pub gets loud although it finishes at a reasonable hour. You can shut the windows to cut most of the noise though. But they do great food and are very friendly.

Great stay and great location! We had a lovely few nights stay at this apartment and were very happy with it! The location is perfect as your only a 3 minute drive down to the bottom of the harbour. On site parking was a massive plus for us and very well located! The apartment is cute and well styled and gives very coastal vibes. The kitchen was well equipped with microwave, oven, and washing machine. You will need to bring some of your own items as they only have salt and pepper, and only one of 3 of the oven trays actually fit in the oven so be aware if you are planning on cooking more. There are clearly permanent residents who live in this building and clearly one of heavy smoker so the hallway always smelt and if you had windows open it would flood in. The journey up to the flat on the top floor is one to ignore and not take personally as the flat at the top is worth it. Would recommend!!

Positive: The flat was in a great location, and it was so good to have allocated parking. It was good value for money for the area. We really appreciated the fact that there was a video that showed how to find the parking spot and the house. The flat was beautifully decorated, clean and well equipped, The little dining table had views over to the sea, which was lovely. The bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here.
Negative: it wasn't a problem for us, but the flat is on the second floor, so lots of steps to get to it.

Thank you for a lovely few days - the perfect place to ride out a national heatwave. Peaceful and great views. A word of warning to tall customers: ceilings are low! I would say perfect for two people - technically it could accommodate more but it would be a real pinch, even with children.

We had a great time.
The flat was lovely and perfect for two (as long as they can climb up the short hill and stairs!).
It was tastefully furnished and uncluttered and everything worked!
We loved the view from the living room.
In the extreme heat it would be good if a couple of fans were available. We had taken one with us but needed more especially as the flat’s at the top of the house.
We’ve already mentioned that it would be good to supply pillow cases for the spare pillows and some smaller baking trays are needed to fit in the oven!
Overall the flat was as listed perfect for
The Travel Fox were very helpful and quick to respond.

What a wonderful stay at The Birds Nest in Boscastle and what a great little town! Lovely view of the sea from the lounge and great location next to a traditional pub. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Positive: Lovely location

The apartment was fab with some really nice coastal decor and everything we needed during our stay. The hosts were even kind enough to post us some left items which we really appreciated. Would highly recommend a stay here and a visit to the pub a couple doors down.

We stayed for four nights and had a wonderful stay. The flat was well equipped with everything we needed, particularly the kitchen, which had all the essentials for self-catering.

The private parking space is located at the end of the road, but it’s only a short walk away and wasn’t an issue at all.

The food at the Napoleon Inn (Next door) was out of this world and is an must visit. We didn’t have any issues with noise from the pub at all. Tuesday evenings Boscastle Buoys perform which was a bonus for some Sea shanties!

Great location. Small living room but the rest of the apartment was a reasonable size. The pub next door is definitely worth a visit. Beautiful food.

This was a great find - walkable to the harbour (but quite steep, especially for getting back) and next door to a fantastic pub. The apartment was clean, comfortable, warm, nicely furnished with a nice hot shower. They have a parking space too which is really useful. I'd recommend this place and particularly liked the fact that the owners give a donation from every stay to the Cornwall Wildlife Trust. The pub next door deserves a mention - the Napolean Inn. Friendly, welcoming and great grreat food

A really lovely flat in the beautiful old upper village. We would definitely stay again if we were two, though climbing over the opened sofa bed to get to the bathroom makes it awkward for three guests, though luckily our teenage son was oblivious.

We had a lovely stay at this flat. It was clean, beautifully decorated, and felt incredibly homely. The location was quiet and peaceful, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. Ideal for couples - would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely stay at The Birds Nest. It was easy to find, straightforward check in, cosy, clean and tidy. Exactly as described.
5.0/5
Reasonably priced, responsive to questions, very pleasant flat with good views. One thing to note is that it is single glazed but ample heaters are provided. This also means that sound travels from the street, however the road was very quiet at night (as was the pub next door) so this didnt affect us personally.
I would recommend watching the helpful video on how to get from the designated parking to the flat as this helped me find the parking when I got a bit lost trying to figure it out.

Clean, well equipped accommodation near to amenities and easy to find with handy parking space.

The 'bird's nest' was a great place to stay.
Nicely furnished with everything you need. The location is good with parking nearby.
The Napoleon pub next door has Cornish charm, The Wellington down the road in Boscastle does very good food if you fancy a slap up meal.
The only small issue that was found was if you need to use the Sofa bed.. But that is explained by The Travel Fox.
Overall, enjoyable stay!

Lovely, cosy, well equipped little flat in beautiful Boscastle. Everything we could have wanted and a perfect location. Thank you!

An amazing little stay, perfectly situated.

Cute second floor apartment with a comfy bed, good shower, well equipped kitchen and lots of sea-sidey decorations.
The location is up a steep hill from the centre of Boscastle and there's a bit of a hill from the parking to building so pack light or pull up briefly outside and offload.
I had a small problem while I was there which was promptly responded to and quickly fixed, despite the festive timing.
The walking options direct from the apartment are excellent - I recommend finding the Ladies Window and a short drive takes you to Tintagel or Crackington Haven where I found some excellent cheese scones.

The flat was beautiful and had everything we needed for a few nights restful stay.

Quite a few stairs to climb to the accommodation as situated on the second floor! Cosy, clean and very well equipped! Great location if walking the South West Coastal Path! Fab food served in The Napoleon pub next door!

Had a lovely stay in Boscastle, in this little gem of a property. It was immaculately clean and very well appointed. Couldn’t have asked for a more responsive host. Would definitely stay again x

Great base to explore boscastle albeit a 15 minute walk downhill to the harbour....and 15 minutes uphill return

Magnifique et relaxant! Nous avons hâte d’y retourner! Merci mille fois!

The flat was in a beautiful location, 10 mins walking distance to Boscastle harbour, via a fairly steep road but my children and I we're able to walk it easily. Area was very peaceful. The accommodation was extremely clean with all the amenities needed. Great communication with the host. Parking space was easy to find and a great added extra for this location. This is a great spot to explore some of Cornwalls magnificent beauty. Recommend a visit to Tintagel just 15 minutes away.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Very clean and welcoming.

Would definitely stay again.

Great location and wonderful walks.

Recommend the Napoleon pub for food. Landlady lovely and friendly. Very handy as next door.

The place was nice, an apartment on the top floor with some sea view. Pub literally next door and can be noisy sometimes. The place had everything we needed. A very late check in- after 4 pm and early check out- by 10 am. Everything else was good.

A lovely little flat in beautiful Boscastle, would highly recommend. The flat was very clean and felt well looked after. The host was very responsive when we had an issue locating the property initially. (Although the communication and information was provided beforehand.) We would happily return.

L'alloggio è molto carino ed arredato con gusto: è ideale per una coppia mentre l'apertura del divano letto in caso di altri due ospiti comporta un po' di scomodità. Gli host sono stati rapidi e disponibili nel rispondere alle richieste di supporto.

The apartment was lovely and clean, and exactly as pictured. Private parking was allocated a short walk away from the accommodation, and the apartment had all the amenities needed for our 3-day stay in Cornwall. I would happily stay here again!
