Good for a one-night stay!
Negative: The procedure to obtain the keys could be more streamlined to allow for security for the providers but with ease for the guests. Standing out in an Oban street with the rain coming down is not the ideal situation for rereading access instructions. Also, there were two access boxes at the door jamb - leaving us with uncertainty about which was which!

Positive: The apartment was fine no complaints there.
Negative: Couldn't get into the apartment until I paid another £20 in order to access the code for the apartment to a company called Travelfox.something like that. I've never had to do this before once I've paid in full to Booking.com this is a new one on me. They said it was a damage waiver of £20 which was non refundable. We are checking out soon and have left the place in much the same order as we found it so why all the panic from.this Travel fox people.

Nice place, if a little pricey. Car parking was costly awkward, best 24 hour parking was down by Premium Inn (£7.50 for the day).

Super spacious and had everything we needed for a family of 4 for the weekend. Fab location and close to the centre.

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It was conveniently located and big enough to accommodate the three of us for a wonderful week in Oban.

Great location, perfect for what we were doing. Well stocked kitchen.

Very central, excellent location- able to walk everywhere. Close to ferry, train station, restaurants and the main square. When I had a problem with anything the Travel Fox were quick to respond to any concerns. Beds very comfortable and so is the pull out sofa bed. Only small negative point I would make would be about the parking. I was out with my car most days working so it wasn’t too much of an issue, but you can’t park on the street for free and can only stay for a max of two hours. The travel fox gave suggestions of other car parks near which allow a longer stay but again still not free- however I’m sure that’s the case for most places in Oban. The place was clean and cozy, I was very happy with my stay and would definitely come back.

Thank you Travel Fox!

Positive: Clean comfortable stay
Negative: Heating not working properly

To begin with the host decided to withhold the security code if we didn’t pay ad additional security fee which they only updated in the description after we had already made the booking. They did eventually apologise but were quite rude in their communication.
The place doesn’t have a dishwasher. The host didn’t even bother to keep shampoo or conditioner or something as basic as a small amount of cooking oil or milk.
There are no bins outside either. Travelling with a child in a diaper that’s a nightmare. Cleaning supplies are kept in extremely accessible places making it not very child friendly. The only good thing about this place is the location. Not worth it for the price at all.
The pictures also look quite different. It’s actually very dim with not even a proper light in the kitchen. They kept a side lamp instead. Would not recommend anyone to stay here for this price.
Keeping aside the bare basics not available, at this price most hosts at least provide a bottle of wine.

this was truly a great place to stay. I didnt know I needed to pay money for insurance up front or a pretty big deposit before I could check in. I chose to pay for peace of mind that something else wasn't broke when I got there. But the home was very nice, clean, and had everything we needed.

Bon emplacement, appartement bien équipé et moderne.

Stayed 1 night with my son who was attending a Scottish music competition. The price was extremely high for 1 night, we wanted to stay for 2 but was unfordable. The place was clean and comfortable and easy to find and access. For the price we paid I would have expected some shampoo and soap provided in the shower.

Very cosy flat, great location near the centre of Oban but in a quiet street. Paid parking obviously a slight issue but at least it wasn't too costly.

Spot on for what we needed in Oban. Only downside for a longer stay was a lack of outside bins.
