Orchard cottage nestles in a fairytale woodland setting – but step through the door and you’ll find beautiful rooms with every comfort.
There’s accommodation for up to 25 with 8 bedrooms, a range of comfortable beds and 5 bathrooms.
There’s a stunning kitchen and dining area, two games rooms, an outdoor hot tub, WiFi, flat screen TV, a barbecue and plenty off-road parking.
The main cottage has six bedrooms, games room and four bathrooms. Next door is a charming annexe with 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and kitchen – ideal for guests or the perfect hideaway!
Main cottage
The panelled games room has a pool table and ample seating which converts into a double sofa bed.
In the chic kitchen you’ll find an island with seating, freestanding fridge and freezer, kettle and microwave. Through the archway is a spacious panelled dining area plus extra comfortable seating which converts into a double sofa bed.
The master bedroom has a king bed, ensuite bathroom and coffee room! Two more bedrooms have king beds, one has a double bed, one bunk beds and one triple bunk beds – all stylish and cosy. There are four more lovely bathrooms.
Annexe
Here you’ll find a light airy living room with lovely views, generous seating and flat screen TV. The light welcoming kitchen is equipped with microwave, oven, kettle and toaster and the adjoining dining area has a table seating six.
One bedroom has a double bed, the other two single beds and there’s a stylish bathroom.
Outside is the hot tub and a BBQ grill (guests provide charcoal) and ample on-site parking.
Orchard Cottage is a rural haven amid rolling fields and a river. With a hot tub beneath the trees you can re-energise in your own woodland spa then enjoy the wide variety of pubs and restaurants nearby!
A must for heritage railway enthusiasts with the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway running by the garden on its way between Caernarfon and Porthmadoc.

Property was exactly as described and the pictures do it justice.
A large house and a smaller one and the same property. Comfortable for everyone with plenty of bathrooms for a numerous family or group of friends.
Recommend items to bring such as a hairdryer, coffee maker to make it a perfect stay.
A host was extremely helpful and super responsive. Highly recommend staying at this place.

Acceptable outcome with a full refund due to presence of bed bugs and dirt/dust throughout, Travel Fox were very helpful given the circumstances. Not sure who was at fault for the state of the property but new cleaners are required plus the property was over priced. Alternative arrangements were made at a much reduced rate. Owners presence after we had left wasn’t welcome, one of the party had to remain to work for the afternoon and the owner suggested we had brought the bed bugs with us. Not great. Week turned out great, happy with the outcome but a quite challenging 24 hours getting sorted

We had a fantastic stay. Our group consisted of three families, and we spent 3 days and 2 nights at this property. The house offers plenty of amenities and is conveniently located, making it easy to visit nearby attractions.
The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The property includes two houses, which worked well for our larger group of around 25 people. The jacuzzi was a big hit, and the host had it ready for us (with clear instructions)on arrival. Since we were a large group, we requested a late checkout, and the cleaners waited patiently, everyone was kind and accommodating, which we really appreciated.

Overall we had a great stay. The hosts were extremely responsive. The bathrooms were lovely and clean. My only comments would be the recycling and rubbish to the entrance of the property clearly hadn’t been collected in a while. I would also suggest the cutlery, glasses etc available do not reflect the maximum capacity the property could hold.

What a lovely stay we all had. Managed to get lots of our family members together and what a beautiful house for us to enjoy our time together. Great fun for all ages, stunning hot tub and a lovely cosy garden to relax in. You feel like your in the middle of a woodland, lovely walks to explore! Highly recommend and we will definitely book again in the future! Great host and quick responses. Everything you need to enjoy your time away and the little added touches make it even more special!

Good location shops nearby and a short drive for Snowdon, unfortunately it was not communicated prior to arrival that the indoor hot tub was not working, we had trouble getting in the key safes as we were provided with the wrong key code. Generally the house was well presented but could do with some maintenance and a deep clean. Could be excellent with a bit more care taken

The property was well located, close to the town centre and Snowdon. There were items missing in the house, towels, lack of toilet rolls, sufficient cooking equipment. One of the hot tubs did not work which we were not advised of until I asked the host. Overall, good stay but there were slight issues

The house was great and the games room included a lot of fun activities, the kitchen was big and the rooms and bathrooms were amazing. However, we encountered problems to do with the indoor hot tub which was liaised with the host and he was proactive in his response and actions. The owners were friendly and the location is amazing as there is a supermarket 2 minutes down the road.

We did have a few issues such as the indoor hot tub being broken, we weren’t told about this prior which was a downer, but we have been given a partial refund which we are grateful for.
The wifi and data did not work for me - not sure if that’s just a countryside issue.

Had a fabulous stay here for my mum's 70th Birthday last weekend, Our age group was 2yrs to 72yrs we all loved it, there was 23 people in total and we all fitted in here comfortably. The Anex was a god send. Sam and the Team were fabulous, were in touch with us updating us on the weather conditions on the roads in the local area and more, We also left an item behind which they are very kindly sending back to us. Would highly recommend.

two night family stay after xmas 26-28th Dec, we found it clean and comfortable, and with within easy each of town. We were disappointed that the indoor hot tub was locked and not available for us to use and no prior notification. Some of the cooking utensils are showing signs of wear and need replacing and there was only one bin bag available for us.

Incredible property and location. Perfect for our large gathering of 16 over Christmas. Remote enough for privacy, but well located close to shops and walking routes.
Kitchen was fully stocked with sufficient pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. Living areas were roomy and comfortable. Bedrooms and beds were also very comfortable and well insulated.
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we would stay here again in a heartbeat. A big thank you to the hosts for making our stay as comfortable as possible and being responsive to our queries both before and during our stay!

We had an amazing stay here with a large group of 26 people. The house is perfect for big gatherings, with a huge open-plan downstairs area that made socialising, cooking, and relaxing together really easy. The two hot tubs were a real highlight and got plenty of use throughout the stay.
The location is ideal, with shops close by for anything you might need, which made organising food and supplies very convenient. The property was well set up for a group of our size and felt comfortable without ever feeling cramped.
We would highly recommend this place for large group getaways and would happily stay again.

We just hosted a little family get together in Orchard Cottage and we loved it! A tiny issue when we opened the fridge but it didn't take anything away from our stay and the host was always very responsive! A great place to stay, thank you so much!

I read the reviews previously and was so excited… the layout of the house is perfect for what we wanted all open plan downstairs and the beds are extremely comfortable. Beautifully decorated and modern/clean.
A couple of issues- I was given the wrong code to access the property, which caused a bit of distress as we were trying to get the house decorated before ppl arrived so was stood outside for 15 minutes.
The bedroom with the en-suite smelled like sewerage. The outdoor space isn’t great as there aren’t many outdoor lights, so hard to see where you’re walking when going into the annex, the outdoor space it’s essentially in the car park.

Great getaway for a large group, house was spacious and clean and everyone had a wonderful time. Close to town for supplies and pubs/restaurants. Highly recommend it for a short getaway to experience Wales in all its glory. We shall be returning.

The Pool table was a great addition for my party of eight.
The property is actually closer to the town centre than it looks on the map and Tesco & Morrisons are just a two minute drive away.
We had one issue with the house but it was sorted out very quickly.

Fantastic host of a lovely cottage. Travel Fox was so quick to respond to messages and very flexible and helpful. The cottage is lovely, clean, well appointed and as shown in the photos. Modern and nicely finished with everything well cared for. Suited our group perfectly. Welcome parcel from the host was a great touch. Definitely recommended.

It’s a lovely house and very peaceful place. We really enjoyed while we there. Very clean house with two hot tubs and lots of parking spaces. Perfect house. Sam and team really supportive and very quick responsive when we need something. We will go back again. Thank you Sam and Team for the super host.

First, the good: after booking this accommodation the host was very responsive to enquiries. There was also an issue with one of the bedrooms (making it unavailable), and we easily came to an agreement in terms of an appropriate discount.
Second, the terrible: the hosts cancelled this booking for us with just hours to spare before we arrived. There was zero communication at all from them at the time, or since then. The hosts were aware that we were a party of multiple families coming with children. We had driven for hours before seeing the booking was cancelled. Terrible.

We had a lovely stay at this self-catering villa — a great spot for a family break. The location is perfect, close to Mount Snowdon and Anglesey’s beaches, with something for everyone. The house was clean, spacious for our group of 22, and well-maintained. The kids loved the games room and hot tubs, and we appreciated the quiet nooks and thoughtful touches throughout.
A few small improvements could make the stay even better: no mirrors in the annex made things like makeup tricky; the wooden stairs were a safety concern for kids — a gate or non-slip surface would help. Small bins in bedrooms, bath mats, a mop, and basic cleaning supplies in bathrooms would be useful. A dryer and access to extra towels, bin bags, and bed linen would also be great. The indoor hot tub area could use a floor drain to manage pooling water.
Despite these minor issues, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider coming back!

We had a wonderful stay at this home for our family summer holiday. The house was lovely — spacious, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring the area. It had everything we needed for a large group, with plenty of space for both adults and kids to relax and enjoy. While there’s a bit of room for improvement in some areas, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Sam was a fantastic host — very responsive and quick to sort out anything we needed. His help made our stay even more enjoyable. We’d happily return for another family getaway!
