Pleasant house with good facilities in a very convenient location.
Positive: Very close to the town centre. Dedicated parking for one car. Secure back garden area.
Negative: Traffic noise at night.

I stayed at Portland mews for 5 nights recently so I could take my kids to Alton Towers. It was a very straightforward drive to Alton Towers from the house which is exactly what I wanted. The Accommodation itself was just what I needed. Although we spent most of the days out seeing the sights the house is well very equipped with everything you need to make your stay easy and comfortable . Nice fast WiFi for kids too which was a big plus. We had fantastic weather all week so it was lovely to be able to sit outside at the table and chairs. The house is located directly over from a lidl which was incredibly handy. We were there almost daily picking up bits and bobs without having to drive to a shop. In leek there is plenty of shops takeaways etc. And your a 5-10 min drive before your out on the country roads where there is some fantastic scenery to take in. We enjoyed going to the market stalls too which again was only 2 mins from the house.
Communication from the host was perfect . I

Positive: Nice clean accomodation clean tidy and all those home comforts and the beds were comfortable and plenty of shops nearby and takeaways and close enough to the peak district for what we wanted to do

The place overall was okay for our needs.
Needs a little tlc in some areas.
Communication was there from the agent however they were over the top with what they were saying about how to leave the property one message would have been sufficent not 5.
Also dont feel like you need the wifi details all over the property just in the folder would have been enough.

Very pleasant accommodation within walking distance of a lovely town centre. Plenty of interesting shops, friendly locals and dog friendly pubs. Parking facility was a real bonus too.

Brilliant location and for families
Positive: Spacious and clean, great location for the Peaks and Alton Towers. Beds were very comfy and fans were provided for the hot weather
Negative: Nothing negative to say other than a pizza cutter needed and maybe pizza trays for oven

Andrew's Place suited us well in terms of location, internal space, parking and facilities.
The house was clean and uncluttered. I liked the white linen upstairs.
Our bed was comfortable. There is plenty of hanging space which we needed as we were attending a formal event.
The kitchen is well equipped, with thoughtful touches like a large kitchen roll and a choice of coffee pods.
In addition the touch pad key is a good idea, no lost keys and the conservatory was a bright and pleasing space during the showery and windy weather.
We will book again when going to the Staffordshire Moorlands area.

Negative: Sofas were extremely uncomfortable to the point no one really wanted to sit together in living room.

Absolutely perfect. Great spot. Lovely home with everything you need. Lovely little town. Communication from hosts was spot on . Having Lidl next door was a great help too.
The Chinese 20 yards away was also one of the best ever. The Roaches only 10 minutes away.... definitely will be coming back here.

Beautiful property with excellent amenities!
Positive: Loved the house! Loved all the pretty flowers and wall pictures, which made it very homely. The kitchen was excellently equipped with everything you could possibly need, as was the rest of the house. The parking spot right outside the front door was super convenient, as well as the Lidl supermarket opposite. As a single parent with a 19-year-old daughter and a 21-year-old son, it was ideal to have 3 bedrooms and 2 toilets; and spacious rooms. The communication from Premier Services was superb. I would highly recommend this accommodation and I would definitely stay here again.
Negative: The 3 seater settee was really uncomfortable to sit on as it dipped in the middle.
The majority of the house was super clean, but unfortunately, a few things let it down. The kitchen tops were sticky, and the pedal bin was dirty on the outside. The upright vacuum cleaner, which was full of hair/fluff, wasn't nice to see in one of the bedrooms. The wall sockets in 2 of the bedrooms were difficult to get to. These are, though, mostly minor issues which could easily be addressed.

Short stay to visit Alton Towers.
Positive: Very clean and comfortable. We are travelling with a child with autism so the enclosed back garden was a real bonus. Washing machine and air fryer were very useful. Right across from Lidl. Leek is a beautiful town, very close for Alton Towers. Raging we weren’t staying longer.
