Good but just for a couple of nights top
Positive: Spacious in distribution despite being a 2 bedroom house.
Good location in Leek centre (a bit strange to be in the middle of a car parking site tho)
Well equipped
Negative: 1)Cleanliness: a) Floor needs to be cleaner. All socks went black after walking around the house with no shoes. b) Sofa bed needs some clean/wash. c)additional pillows and duvets were stained and didn't look clean.
2)Main bed: very small and soft. My husband and I aren't too tall (1.78m) but felt too tight to sleep (both are side sleepers) as my knee landed in his back a couple of times and had to sleep on my other side to avoid it 😕.
3)Wardrobe in main bedroom. Looks like the doors were broken at some point hence damaged the sides of the wardrobe and don't look ok. At least didn't affect our stay.
4)internet: extremely slow. After a couple of days out, we were expecting to have some movie time with the family to relax, but it was really difficult as the film stopped 3 times to restart it again and again because of the slow wi fi connection.
7.0/10
Positive: Great central location. Easy access to a lot of places and easy to find. Great space for our family
Negative: Floor was filthy. Our socks and feet were black after an hour of walking on the floor. Clumps of hair were found in the kitchen and living room, and under the beds had dust balls. Had to hoover all this up on our first night just to feel like we werent living in someone elses mess

Fab location for Alton towers.
Positive: Cute property which has good location for Alton towers, it was clean and had all that was needed. Some nice touches like shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom. It's generally in a good state or repair, the staff were response when I messaged about something.
Negative: The location within the town itself means that you can hear all sorts like biffa trucks collecting rubbish, store deliveries etc before dawn. The only other thing was that there were four of us and the hot water ran out at the end of the first day and we couldn't find out how to put this on, we assumed the tank would automatically refill over night but this did not happen - so had cold shower on the last day. Also lots of spiders in the property that could have been removed. Also the garden could do with a clean up, it's a bit of a mess!

Spacious 2 bedroom property in a convenient location, the centre of town. We were very comfortable, car parking very eas
Positive: A lovely two bedroom property in the centre of town, 20 mins to Alton Towers and close to the Roaches and lovely countryside pubs.

The house was spacious, communication was great and check in easy. Car parking was all good, there is a car park 2 mins walk away which is £2.50 for the entire day!

We were very comfortable, thank you.
Negative: These are minor things and didn’t ruin our stay at all!

- The houses are planted in the middle of a car park which is odd and so it isn’t a ‘pretty’ setting. But it’s very convenient!
- It is a bit run down in places, like paint work on the ceiling. Didn’t ruin our stay at all, just makes it that slightly less luxurious feel.
- The light is flickering in the double room and the bed is very soft, feels like it’s going to collapse! We did get used to it though.
- Could use more kitchen ware such as a measuring jug, frying pan, different sized saucepans…

But these are minor, didn’t ruin our stay at all, good value for money but the host may want some feedback!

Positive: VERY. HARD TO GET KEYS DUE TO STREET OF SAME NAME? AND DONT THINK WE WERE SPEAKING YO LOCALS? DONT FoRGET WE ARE STRANGERS ? DONT KNOW ABOUT THE POSTCODES
Negative: DIRECTIONS TO FLAT

Good location, simple entry and exit instructions, good stay just what we needed
1.0/10
Terrible. Don’t book it
Positive: It was central to Leek
Negative: It was in the middle of a Home Bargains car park. Noisy bars surrounding it.
It wasn’t well kept at all, green shower screen at the base of the glass, dirty bin in the bathroom, handprints around the light switches, what looked like a splash of blood on the paint on the staircase.

The wardrobes look like they had doors, but these have been ripped off, the radiators were hanging off the wall too.

Must have had a leak in the bathroom as the ceiling below was water stained.

There were also monitoring devices in all the rooms, the host couldn’t advise what these were for as the didn’t control the lighting! We assume they were monitoring whether a room was in use. Could there be a microphone or camera in them?! They looked like motion sensors.

We checked in at 10pm and left to go to the premier inn down the street by 10:45pm.

I’ve complained to the host who initially said they’d refund me. But they’ve ignored all emails since then.

Would not recommend this for the price charged!

Great location with easy access to shops and restaurants, literally 1-min walk to the main town centre from an alley way.

Found the rooms a bit dusty, especially the sofa bed.

Some parts needing maintenance.

Overall good and convenient property but let down by maintenance.

Tip: Make sure you view the video (not listed on AirBNB) on the link from the agent to find the place. Without which, you'll struggle to find it. We found at 11pm in the night, spending a good 10-mins trying to find it.

Positive: Spacious house for a family of four.
Easy to find.
And a quick drive to alton towers theme park.
Negative: Rubbish bags left in back garden.
While staying at property and also had to leave key for handyman to access property to fix bathroom door handle, which should of been done prior to arrival.
Felt uncomfortable leaving belongings unattended while we were not in the property.
Bathroom must of had a leak as lots of broken tiles on bathroom floor, door handle broken which we weren't told about until arrived at property.

Great location only 20 minute drive to Alton towers. Lots of shops very close by. Could do with a few more baking trays as only one provided. We went and brought so throwable ones from home bargains. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall we had a great stay
Positive: House was very modern and larger than expected. Overall we had a lovely stay and we were pleased to have somewhere to stay after a long day at Alton towers.
Negative: There was no equipment for washing up such as a sponge, cloth or brush, it made washing up more difficult! Also a bath mat would be a useful addition when taking a shower.
6.0/10
Suited us location wise and a nice house but poorly maintained although it was clean inside
Positive: Great location for us. Close to family that we were visiting
Negative: Beds not very comfortable
Fag ends in the garden were really off putting. A whole dish of them and in a fire pit too. Couldn’t un-see them!
5.0/5
Easy to find and get in. House was clean. Was nice and warm. Appliances all worked well and was able to cook a nice family meal. Good Wi-Fi, large tv with all the apps, shower was fine and sofas and beds were comfy. Lots of parking available and the house is located very close to shops, bars and restaurants. Very good for the price.

The house was a little rough around the edges, doors missing from wardrobes, grouting worn away in parts of the bathroom floor causing damp on the lounge ceiling. The view from the front room was let down by the neighbours piles of rubbish. Lots of cigarette butts in the back garden and some half full bin bags dumped in the corner but wasn’t bad enough to make a complaint, it’s just not ideal for a ten year old who wants to hang out in the garden.

Would recommend and would stay here again.

Just what was needed for family to stay in whilst visiting us. Thank you!

The house was really nice, clean, and comfortable – exactly as described. Communication with the host was excellent, quick, and very helpful. The only small drawback was that there wasn’t an iron or hairdryer available on arrival, although the host kindly offered to drop them off. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to collect them as we were out during that time. Overall, a great stay and would definitely recommend.

A good stay at a place that is really ideally located for visiting the Peak District and also Alton Towers and Waterworld .

The property was barely 30 m away from Leek High Street and walkable to some nice local coffee places.

The house was fairly clean and the location is ideal for our trip plan. There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby makes it easy. Most of the tourist places are within an hour away. Sam was very responsive, friendly and provided instructions for things we couldn't figure out thoughout our stay.

Really like the house, could do with a new bed frame and TV in the bedroom.
Positive: Location very good
Negative: The Double bed frame didn't seem very sturdy every time you moved it would flex and creek, it felt like it was going to break, i like a TV in my room also which this property didn't have.

Great location for a visit to Leek, good value, parking free at check-in but not free until checkout, would have liked to know about that before booking but not too inconvenient as could pay by app. Suited our needs perfectly. Thank you.

House was lovely and we had the added bonus of a christmas tree in the lounge . Location was perfect and so convenient for the town . The hosts literally saved our christmas after another property in leek cancelled our booking in November after we had had it booked for a year. We can't recommend this property and the team enough .
