We have a great stay. We have enjoyed our short stay. Most of the establishment are nearby. Easy access to any form of transportion. The host were very accommodating
4.0/10
Not ideal but we made do
Positive: Good location for Alton towers visit, close to shops
Negative: House has an off milk smell which was quite strong, TV screen was filthy in living room. Sink in upstairs toilet was slow to drain and grime coming up Into sink when draining. Sofa bed had leaves and other dirt on the mattress when folded out. Downstairs toilet stunk of damp/damp marks on various walls

We loved staying here, location is perfect and central. Property was great with everything needed for our stay.

Good location

This was a very convenient stay in the middle of Leek, yet still quiet in the evenings and during the night. Supermarkets, pubs and restaurants all local. Ample space to sleep 5 or 6 people. Parking wasn’t an issue between 3.30pm and 9.30am, and during the paid times there is a car park opposite for £2.50 per day. We enjoyed our stay.

Hi.
Check in was a bit complicated. I arrived and then had to wait for the check in code after a 6hr drive. Nx.

Very good location in the centre of Leek. Exactly as described and so clean. Really enjoyed our stay.

Wow this is a great place. In the town but still peaceful on a night time. Lots of parking available
5.0/5
We stayed here for 2 nights in order to attend a wedding close by. The property was as described and shown in the images. It was clean and really well equipped with all we needed. Communication beforehand was excellent with clear instructions for access and WiFi, even including a Youtube video of how to find the property. The house is a short walk into Leek with plenty of restaurants and pubs. We would recommend this property to others
9.0/10
Positive: Very suitable accommodation while working away from home. Hosts were easy to get hold of.
5.0/5
Perfect for our Alton Towers trip- would happily stay again with my family or with some friends. Very budget friendly with supermarkets nearby for picnics for park days and dinner when you get home 😀
3.0/5
The property is in a great location for the shops in Leek and has the potential to be a lovely place to stay. The bedrooms and bathroom were very good and appeared clean and well prepared. However, the property lacks a homely feel and feels quite bare, with little character.
The kitchen had limited utensils, which made cooking difficult, and the extractor fan wasn’t working so we had to open the back door. Although towels were provided, there was no tea towel, only thin blue roll which isn’t ideal. Some items, including glasses, the cheese grater and oven shelf, were not clean, and the freezer seemed to be constantly half defrosted.
The decor looks quite tired in places, especially the kitchen skirting, and the downstairs toilet extractor fan is extremely loud. The garden was also disappointing, with branches everywhere, rubbish and cigarette butts.
Overall, it was reasonably comfortable but very basic. With a few small improvements and more attention to detail, it could be much better

Great hosts and answered when messaged very quickly
5.0/5
Great house & excellent location! Really close to town!
It was also very clean and welcoming ☺️
4.0/5
Great location for exploring Peak District as close to national park yet lots on doorstep in terms of coffee shops, supermarkets, restaurants. There was a dirty sheet left on the sofa bed that the cleaner had forgotten to change but the host dealt with this super quickly and brought the sheet round within half an hour of us alerting them on the emergency number. Overall a comfortable stay in a handy location.

3.0/5
On the basic side but clean and fit for purpose.
Located in the town centre so convenient for shops, pubs, restaurants etc.
Good instructions and comms from host.
5.0/5
Great place in the centre of town. Perfect for our small family. Excellent communication. Will be back.
4.0/5
Cheap and pleasant. Being a home run by a corporation, it lacks homeliness and character, but it has most things you need for a couple of days in the Peak District.

The primary bed could do with a new/fimer matress as it was feeling pretty dead, and if you plan on cooking at the apartment, check what pots/pans you need before buying your food as it could do with a few more items (baking trays, larger fry pan, etc.) as it is not setup for a large group even though the apartment can host a family of 6. There are a few stores within walking distance, and the general area is pleasant and quiet in the evening.

Really good stay here
We will be looking to stay again
Exactly as described

Leek is a hidden gem of a town with plenty to explore, and the accommodation location couldn’t be more central. And homely too.

Very easy check inn, lovely place and great location would definitely recommend 👍🏻
4.0/5
Great place for an overnight stay before going to Alton Towers 20 mins drive away. Close to shops/supermarkets right in the doorstep. Fully equipped kitchen great for home cooking.

We did have a couple of issues with the cleanliness of the kitchenware which had stains on the crockery & pots/pans hadn't been cleaned. Also we found a pile of ladies underwear in the drawer with the pots & pans which was quite a surprise! And the toilet brush in the bathroom was really dirty. These are small issues & probably just an oversight, the host was quick to respond when I messaged about it. However, the issue was not resolved & no solution was offered by the host, we had to resolve the issue ourselves. The walls are also very grubby looking, full of marks/stains & there was quite alot of dust around.
So due to this we didn't feel it was good value for money because the cleanliness wasn't up to standard for the price. Therefore, we couldn't give a 5 star review, but enjoyable stay all round.
5.0/5
House was perfect for what we needed, parking right outside overnight and the information provided from the host made check in straightforward. The host was responsive to any questions I had.
Comfy beds and clean linen much appreciated.
The main attraction for us was Alton Towers nearby, but the town seemed lovely. I would happily return to this property. Thank you 🙂

Great place, will visit again

I was only there a couple of days, but no real issues. WiFi is shared between the 2 neighbouring houses. So had to ask next door to reboot the router but once sorted all was ok
5.0/10
Sort stay
Positive: It was near shops and eateries
Negative: Premises needs updating
5.0/5
Convenient for centre of Leek with lots of shops and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. Clean and tidy with all necessary requirements for a couple of days stay. Only slight issue was the parking as we had to move our car several times due to short stay parking limitations
5.0/5
Perfect for what we were looking for.
5.0/5
Great location and a great property for a fantastic price. Perfect for a few days at Alton Towers as it's a 20 minute drive from the park.
5.0/5
My family stayed for Alton towers and it was a great location and really accessible to the theme park.

The house is well equipped and very homely, we would stay again.
5.0/5
Great host - excellent communication
5.0/5
It was a nice stay and everything went very smooth.
4.0/5
The host was very easy to deal with, and communication throughout our stay was excellent. The property is located within a car park, but free parking is available outside the house from 3:30 pm to 9:30 am, which was convenient. Alton Towers is only about 20 minutes away, making it a great base for our trip.

The house itself was clean and tidy, though some areas could use a refresh — particularly the lounge ceiling and kitchen skirting, which showed noticeable water staining. The furniture and beds were serviceable, but on the basic side and not especially comfortable. A fresh coat of paint and some updated furnishings would make a big difference.

Overall, a clean and practical stay in a convenient location, with a host who was a pleasure to communicate with
5.0/5
Great place to stay for a few nights, in a good location within town centre and only 20/30min drive from Peak District
