The games barn was great for entertainment after alton towers, thoroughly enjoyed.

Kitchen has everything needed for quick dinners we were preparing after long days. Bed comfortable and kids slept well.

The ice cream / milkshake vending machine was amazing, kids loved wandering down and choosing puddings.

Would return if we come back to the area.

A good location to stay for visiting Alton Towers also it's nice and peaceful.

This place is a hidden gem!! I spent two nights with my daughter as we visited Alton Towers and it was absolutely perfect!! If there is ever an example of “home from home” then this it. You honestly don’t need to take anything! I’ve never stayed in cleaner accommodation. The facilities were brilliant and the kids barn with pool table etc was amazing! Everything worked and kept my daughter and me entertained for hours.
The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you would need and although they state the water isn’t on the mains so might struggle it didn’t. The shower and toilets worked better than my own. The water ran hot instantly.
But honestly this place is amazing and please take my advice and visit.

We had a great stay and the playroom was fun. The Airbnb was clean, comfortable and the surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. It was exactly as we expected from the listing.
The only thing is that we couldn't charge our car there, the shower wasn't good at all and we still have a block on our card for the £150 deposit 5 days after we left when this should have been returned by now.

Had a lovely short stay at this beautiful cottage so we could take my oldest daughter to Alton Towers.
The cottage itself is small but very clean with everything you need from an AirBnB. They even have a shared playroom with a pool table, table tennis and air hockey as well as some board games, little toys for younger children etc.
The only thing that could have made this better would be use of a highchair, its the only piece of equipment we personally cant fit in our travel packing and for our little one (12m) it was difficult to have her sat on our lap at the table when having dinner etc.

But what a lovely place to stay, its so peaceful and there is a 24hr farm shop a 2 minute walk away which sells homemade milkshakes and ice creams, coffee and some cake bits with a small play area to use also.

Would absolutely recommend this place.

Lovely place to stay with the kids, the play barn with pool table, football table, table tennis and air hockey was great family fun. The outside pinic table let us eat with the pretty views and kitchen well stocked. Host lovely.

Great place and very close to Alton towers. The WiFi could work better, but everything else was great

Lovely location, walking distance to a fresh dairy with ice creams, milkshakes and of course, fresh milk. 15-20minute drive to Alton Towers and to the lovely Trentham Monkey Forest.
Great selection of board games, and the air-hockey and table football were a hit with our family!
Well-equipped kitchen.

Lovely place to come back to after a fun day at Alton Towers. Super easy check-in and Alison greeted us at the gate when we arrived. Cottage was very good - just remember to turn the radiator taps on before you go to bed as we woke up quite cold. Wifi wasn't great but not too much of a problem. We also loved the nearby dairy. We had a fun, moonlit walk there (just a few minutes) and had delicious ice cream and fresh milkshakes from a 24-hour vending machine. What a brilliant idea and cheap too!
