The heart of the home is the open-plan living and dining area — perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. Sink into the comfortable seating after a day exploring, watch your favourite shows on the TV, or gather around the dining table for an evening meal.

After a day of exploring, you can unwind on the patio outside the cottages. Please note that the benches are not left out over the winter, and therefore are not pictured.

4.0/5
place was perfect for what we needed it for, we went to alton towers and really only slept there. the place was okay, pretty dated and felt like we were being watched with everything we did, however it was perfect for us. place was a bit dated and could do with an upgrade, but happy either way we are happy with what we got and what we paid for.

Great base for Alton Towers! The place would really benefit from a name sign outside the gates as its not obvious you are in the right place being very rural. The instructions also state that key safes are next to the electric gate - they are not they are behind you as you walk or drive up to the gate. We were very lucky and the owner came out when he saw me looking for a sign to see if we were in the right place. He also told us that the gate was broken and showed us the fob to open & close them. We were lucky that he was there when we checked in as there were no instructions for this. The place was very clean but there was a very strong fousty / smoke smell the whole time - maybe take an air freshner with you. The shower water pressure was very low and water leaked from the on/off switch so a floor mop after a shower was always needed. Wifi isnt great so if this is important to you be advised. Our kids used the barn with pool, air hockey etc which was a great added bonus to the place

the property is beautifully done. With a garden done in a way that set the tone to feel close to nature and at peace.
we would definitely go again

We very much enjoyed our stay here. It was very clean and in a quiet location. We said we’ll definitely be booking again if we need to visit the area.

absolutely lovely place to stay. This was a return visit for us as we liked it so much. Spotlessly clean, lots of clean towels, lots of consumables (cleaning stuff, washing up liquid, toilet paper, kitchen roll etc). Owners very friendly. Play barn is an added bonus

What a find, the actual hosts were lovely on site and so helpful and our kids loved the play barn. Would highly recommend and would def return. Would just advise the wifi is not good, couldn’t stream even Netflix on tv or on kindle but we didn’t have much time for tv anyway there’s so much to do in the area and accommodation. Thank you for giving us great memories.
