Nestled in the foothills of the National Forest is The Old Cowshed, an idyllic barn conversion dating back over 200 years. The Old Cowshed is the perfect retreat for families and friends who want to explore the great outdoors and enjoy cosy nights.
With luxury accommodation to suit everybody's needs, The Old Cowshed is an ideal space to recharge your batteries and spend some quality time with loved ones. Rustic oak beams and hand-crafted furnishings are a celebration of yesteryear. With little luxuries throughout, a log burner for those snuggly nights in front of the fire add lashings of rural romance.
Perfectly situated along the B5017 (Stubby Lane) to enjoy plenty of places of interest in the local areas, from the historic town of Uttoxeter to the rolling hills of the Peak District, The Old Cowshed is a home from home. Located in the heart of the Staffordshire countryside, it is the perfect base to go exploring across Staffordshire and Derbyshire.
The accommodation boasts 4 large king size bedrooms that can accommodate up to 12 people (up to 6 adults):
Bedroom 1 (The Dairy) is a king size with ensuite suite bathroom.
Bedroom 2 (The Paddock) is a king size.
Bedroom 3 (The Hayloft) is a king size.
Bedroom 4 (The Stables) our largest bedroom equipped with two bunk beds with pull out beds to accommodate up to 6 children. Please note that these beds are designed for children. With a large smart TV, the room will double up a cinema/ entertainment room.
All beds include memory foam mattresses, soft and medium pillows and soft cotton sheets. Bedrooms are equipped with other extra throws for the cooler evenings. In each bedroom you will find a smart TV, fan, hairdryer, storage drawers and a hanging rail.
Throughout the duration of your stay at The Old Cowshed, you will be eligible for a 20% discount off all meals and drinks at The Courtyard, a local bistro located just 10 minutes away in Tutbury! Instructions on how to receive your discount will be shared with the check-in information before your stay.
A refundable £150 pre authorisation damage deposit or £25 non refundable waiver is required per stay it will be collected via verifying your booking through our guest portal after booking
