Becky's Place was a great house for our group of tired, hungry rowers who'd been competing for the weekend. Clean, comfortable and a lovely base to come back to. Thanks

This host is the worst ever! I have been using Air BnB for years and this agency or host whatever you wanna call them!

Do not pay the £250 damage deposit they request when you book with them. Air BnB support could not retrieve my money because the payment was made outside the Air BnB app/site 🤦‍♂️

Air BnB support even said to me that the host had violated the Air BnB terms they are not meant to request a ‘damage deposit’

Air BnB even offered me £148.50 as coupon to use for my next booking which is a joke! Considering the host falsely accused me and family of dropping a toothbrush holder into the sink and broke the sink.

I requested to come back and inspect as I was still about but they declined. The host said it would be pointless to come and inspect because it had already been fixed! Apparently the £250 damage deposit I paid covered the damage and loss of income…

I mean during this cost of living really mate? Anyways I hope that £250 makes you rich you scammer!

Great value for what we paid. Just around the corner from Nottingham Racecourse which was the purpose of our trip 🙂

The house was easy to find and check in was really easy.

The beds are really comfy and the rooms are spacious.

The price is great for a 4 bedroom house. I highly recommend this house if you need to be near central Nottingham

Great stay, host accommodated my request for an early check in and was replying very promptly. Chose the place because it was a good distance from the Motorpoint arena and wasn’t disappointed as it’s just around the corners

The property is in desperate need of maintenance and freshening up. The garden area needs to be cleaned of cigarette butts and broken line prop.
2.0/5
From the photos, the house appeared in good order and well-maintained. Upon arrival, our first impression was the lingering smell of stale cigarette smoke. Going upstairs, one of the bedrooms was completely unusable due to a truly overpowering stench of weed. Opening a window and spraying air freshener did nothing to help. The house overall needs some pretty major TLC. Someone had clearly gone in to prepare for our arrival, however it felt like more of a superficial clean. We saw dust on the doorframes, some pretty disgusting-looking stains on the sofas, and the carpet on the stairs and in the hallway were filthy. Upstairs front bedroom had a hole near the ceiling with mould stains coming down the wall. The bathroom was clean and a good size, but it did look like there was a bit of mould on the grouting of the tiles in the shower. The blinds in multiple rooms were broken. To top it off, the kitchen door wasn’t attached at the bottom and had a large bit of wall damage next to it. Avoid.

The place was great- it was very clean and in a great location!

nice gaff

Basic functional accommodation suited to larger groups. Front door opens into one of the double rooms. Passive aggressive warning from neighbours on arrival due to a previous guests behaviour made the stay a bit awkward. External bins overflowing so unable to follow hosts instructions on emptying bins. At approx £50pppn it’s fairly priced.

Stayed here for two nights, as we were competing in the Outlaw half. Very easy check in and out and location was perfect only being a 10-15 minute drive from the venue. As well as Aldi being a short walk away.

The place was convenient because it was close to a bus stop, so we could easily get into the city, and it was close to Colwick Hall. You must go through the lounge (where the sofa bed is) to get to the bathroom.
