This Air BnB was good value for money, and would have been perfect for a large group such as stag do or just a place to lay your head. The bedrooms were brilliant and spacious. Unfortunately on arrival there was a noticeable smell like air freshener over weed, and the kitchen had dead flies across sink and windowsill. The interior had noticeable cracks in walls and worn sofa. As a group of friends with a baby wanting to relax in the Air BnB, it wasn’t perfect. However it did the job, the host was attentive and responsive, and the location is walking distance to Sneinton Market and city centre which are great spots for hanging out with friends and drinking.
4.0/5
Great host with great communication.
The property itself was in a lovely quiet location away from the main road with ample parking.
Property felt nice and secure.
All the essentials were available, however we did request some fans for the rooms as it was 29 degrees when we stayed and no air conditioning. They were unable to provide any.
Nice and clean although bathroom a little dated.
Also lovely that towels were provided but only one person person and even as an average size girl didn't cover all I needed they are a little on the small side.
Apart from these minor inconveniences the house it great, lovely and spacious, comfortable beds and great quiet area

Would recommend
Positive: Felt like home from home. Beds were amazing. House was beautiful and the location was so quiet. The parking for 2 vehicles was plenty. Shops just down the road. Would use whenever I'm in the area
Negative: Couldn't fault anything.
5.0/5
Brilliant location at a reasonable price for a large group that want to stay within walking distance of Nottingham City Centre.

We had a few issues that were out of the Host's control and they dealt with them the best they could with clear, honest communication.

we were still able to have a brilliant stay and I would recommend to all. Many thanks

Great place, lovely host

The house was fine, ideal for larger groups. The place is as described, plenty of room and everyone seemed satisfied.

However, the electrics are straight up dangerous. The metre box, where the power comes into the house, is completely exposed. Electrical terminations (the earth Henley block) near the metre not covered or protected.

A small room with a fridge/freezer in the kitchen has electrical cables on display at switch height, very easy to touch.

I’ve noticed another guest that has left a review in December 2025, also mentioned these same problems. It is now the middle of April. A blank plate costs less than £5 and takes less than 30 seconds to install. The metre on display would take longer however 4 months? I’m not sure about that.

We had a great stay here, it's a good option for a larger group of friends. The space worked really well for us and the bedrooms were all comfortable. It was perfect for a casual group trip and we would stay again.

Great and pleasant stay.
4.0/5
Overall it is a really nice place and very spacious. The driveway is a bit of a nightmare to get out of. But that’s the only real complaint. No cushions or blankets in the living room is not ideal either. But it is a nice, warm place and very close to town center which is useful.
4.0/5
Had to mess with the boiler to get heating and hot water. That should have been ready for our entry otherwise it was fine
3.0/5
Unfortunately, this stay fell well below expectations. The house was extremely cold throughout our stay. We attempted to increase the heating using the thermostat, including setting it to maximum, but it made no noticeable difference and the property never warmed up.

There were also safety and maintenance concerns. An electrical box with exposed wiring was visible in the kitchen, which is not acceptable. In addition, the sofa bed was damaged and could not be used as intended, despite the listing suggesting the property could accommodate a larger group.

Parking was also problematic. Although a driveway is advertised, the road is very narrow, making it extremely difficult to manoeuvre and park a vehicle safely.

Finally, only one set of keys was provided for a property advertised as sleeping up to 10 people, which made access inconvenient and impractical for a group stay.

Overall, the property was not properly maintained or prepared for guests, and we would not stay here again

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had an amazing stay! The place was spotless, stylish, and exactly as described. The host was friendly, responsive, and made check-in super easy. The location was perfect—close to everything but still quiet and relaxing. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your wonderful home for our work contract, the accommodation was as described and clean. Communication was proactive and friendly, I would highly recommend.

Just a few select points from the group that attended:

Positives-
Proactive and responsive host.

Lovely interior and comfy beds.

Negatives-
Toilet is not properly attached and moves when you sit on it.

No bin in the bathroom, no hand towel and no hand soap. Had to use my own shower gel etc for people to wash their hands.

The bathroom doesn't lock (so trust who you're with) and the bathroom door is very hard to shut and open.

We tried to shut the front door, we ended up having to lock it from the inside, then going out the back door after locking that.

Summary-
Great place for a place to rest your head, but very clearly quickly put together. Lots of minor and major issues (which for the cost, was not worth it).
All stuff that can be easily improved!
5.0/5
Nice place, close enough location to city centre. Good for big groups.

Great host, would come back

i am complaining to airbnb this house it not worth £10 a night. Its a joke the DIY work....looks like a blinds man dog did it!! Its filthy DIY standards similar to that of a doss house, i have taken many photos and will be sending to airbnb and putting them everywhere i can to stop people staying at this disgusting house with neighbours that smoke weed and it comes through the windows. Outside..... fag ends outside.... broken glass outside small plastic bags that probably had weed in..... its awful... and dirty oven with a old onion ring in it...... my grandchild of 13 months after crawling on the front room floor was filthy, my wife ended up having to mop the floor .....

PLEASE PLEASE DONT STAY HERE YOU WOULD BE BETTER OFF UNDER A BRIDGE SOMEWHERE

Lovely place does the job. Good service

So, where do I begin? The house had potential, but when we arrived the parking was littered with rubbish from the bins, for three days we asked them to clean it—we ended up doing it ourselves! The garden was a mess, the house was unfinished inside and out, and the windows were not clean. The kitchen was poorly equipped, the dining area only seated four even though the house sleeps eight. The shower leaked through the floor onto the stairs, making the carpet wet and dangerous for my 80-year-old parents—the ceiling was even ripped down to repair the leak! They told us about the ceiling 24 hours before we arrived, with no other options, saying the leak was fixed (it wasn't). The heating and Wi-Fi were down when we arrived, but the host fixed that quickly. This place could be amazing with a little work, but unfortunately, that work's has not been done.

Really nice, thank you for letting us stay

Great place to stay in Nottingham. There was a few cosmetic issues but they minor and will be resolved soon as assured by the owner. Beds were comfy and the living room was spacious.

Everything as described, had a great time.

I enjoyed staying with my uni mates at 9 Bawtry walk. It was just what we needed, after a night out in Nottingham. It was a very clean and nice space. There was some nice bedrooms. Overall, a pleasant experience and I would recommend staying here.

Really nice stay! Clean, friendly host! Perfect for a larger group!

Could do with some more items in the kitchen e.g. tea towels.

I would highly recommend! Definitely would stay again!
4.0/5
We enjoyed our stay with clear communication throughout. Although, the kitchen was missing a few items and the cleaning had missed a few things from previous occupants.
5.0/5
Really easy and convinient for spending time in Nottingham, with Central being within walking distance.

Everything as described, clean and well maintained property. Responsive host if had any issues
5.0/5
Perfect need for one night stay but only issues was renovations was still taking place at the house plug socket hanging off the wall, big hole in the ceiling pipe work on show also just general finishing touches of decorating missing
5.0/5
The house was clean and modern set back from the road
2.0/5
We stayed here for a night, 8 of us. Despite there only being one bathroom which was an inconvenience, the place overall wasn’t very clean or comfortable to stay. We felt as though the place had an unfinished feel.
It was fine for one night but wouldn’t stay here again.

The host was very communicative in finding the place and we appreciate them offering us a refund as there was a leak and a hole in the ceiling.
5.0/5
Perfect for needs, clear instructions, comfortable, only has 1 bathroom but was otherwise perfect.
4.0/5
Our stay in Nottingham was quite nice. The location was walkable to a few grocery stores and not a far drive to places, such as Nottingham Castle. The owner was very responsive to any questions and concerns we had. We would recommend this home to others.
5.0/5
Was a very nice property

Thank you so much for our stay, we really enjoyed our time working in Nottingham!

We had a nice stay, the house has recently been modified so is clean and tidy. This is close to the town centre but is in a quiet location. I would recommend a stay
9.0/10
Nicely Tucked Away
Positive: Off road parking for 2 cars which is always a bonus. House is only a short taxi ride (£8) or a 20 minute walk into the city centre so convenient location. House is nicely decorated, warm and cosy and everything you need is at hand, including tea and coffee (which we had forgotten to pack, so was well received!) Beds were comfortable resulting in a good night's sleep so all in all a very pleasant stay
Negative: Just an observation or 2 - these
didn't impact our stay at all!
There was no bin in the kitchen. We used a carrier bag but not ideal if anyone's going to be cooking etc
The toilet is a little wobbly, so needs fixing to the floor.
There is a socket in the living room that has not been fixed to the wall. Again wasnt a problem for us but needs sorting before people stay with children.
5.0/5
The whole group had a great stay. The house was clean and very clear check in instruction before arrival. Would definitely recommend !

Great value for money too !
