really easy check-in and great communication from the travel fox team. the place waals perfect for what we needed it for and we all stayed comfortable. the floor in the kitchen could have done with a mop, but that was no issue for us as we spent most of our time out of the home. Thanks Travel Fox team!

I did mention to the owner that it smelt bad throughout, had lots of stains and marks and needed an update. He said he’d tell the cleaners.

Great place to stay. Super walkable to the city centre about 15-20 minute walk. We were working at the theatre and took us about 18 minutes. Lots of cabs around too. Parking is great just be aware it’s shared with all houses in that area. Great hosts very communicative will stay again. Second bedroom is a little smaller so something to be aware of but we didn’t mind that at all. 10/10

Great little terraced house. Stayed with my 2 dogs. Able to park on the forecourt and useful little enclosed yard at the back. Easy walk to a local park to exercise the dogs and a stones throw from the City Centre. Cosy, warm rooms and decent shower! Perfect for all of my needs

Le logement correspondait bien aux photos. A 15 minutes à pied du centre ville. Parfait pour la semaine qu’on y a passé. Très réactif à nos questions et on a pas eu de mal à les contacter quand on en a eu besoin

Was a really cosy and well equipped place. great location near the city centre would definitely recommend staying here

The property was a pleasant place to stay and served as a good base for our trip. We did feel that a few updates to the furnishings and a more thorough routine clean would have made our stay a bit more relaxing. Some small additions, like bedside lamps and extra privacy at the front, would also go a long way. Overall, it’s a nice spot that just needs a little bit of 'TLC' to reach its full potential.

Gratidão pela estadia e atenção a todo tempo comigo, amei a minha estadia a casa e espaçosa e agradável.
2.0/5
The place was in a good location and the house did the job. The main issue was there was 6 of us staying and they hadn’t provided bed sheets for the sofa bed, and even after informing the host of the issue they had no intentions of rectifying the mistake. There was also stains and dirt on the sofa bed which was quite grim. It was also freezing the weekend we stayed and the heating didn’t work very well. The dirty glassware and dishes was not a good look either.

Stayed here for 3 weeks while on a work trip, great little house in a safe, quiet location. Close to 2 nice parks, shopping centre and city centre. Everything walkable with loads of delivery options. Host was very responsive and kind given a change in circumstances and needing to leave early.
4.0/5
The house was clean and well equipped. The location is very quiet and easy to walk into the city centre. One improvement I would suggest is the maintenance of the garden, it was a shame it was over grown and we were not really able to enjoy when the weather was so nice. Everything else was good.
5.0/5
A great place for a one night stay, as there were six of us it was very good value for money too. Towels and basics (such as tea, coffee etc) provided which was a nice touch, and greatly appreciated. Note that there are are a few gravel car parks as you turn into the main row of houses, so it can be a little confusing at first to find the house. Although the place was clean, note that the bed in the front main bedroom is metal and can make noise when turning throughout the night - the bathroom door is also rigid and hard to open/close without making noise. You may also want to bring additional pillows if you require multiple when sleeping.
I would recommend this place for a one night stay, and will look to return for future needs.

Really handy central spot 10min walk from the main high street with the quiet and calm of being in a cul de sac. With a well sealed back garden for the dogs we all had a happy stay.

good instructions left and they were really quick responding to any questions.

thanks

Think twice. Only the pictures look good.
Positive: Location was good, just 10/15 min to the city depending where you’re going.
Also, you can park your car and there is a little back garden..
Negative: Everything else was a disaster. Dog’s hair EVERYWHERE like they didn’t hoover at all, shower/bath leaking into the kitchen, fridge/freezer not closing so not working properly (we throw away loads of food), bedding dirty or some kind of sticky substance, burnt dirty pans, burnt dirty toaster, plenty of cigarettes butts in the garden, rubbish underneath the sofa, the bed of the sofa wasn’t even attached to the sofa itself so we fixed it to be able to use it but we didn’t at the end as the mattress was all dirty and disgusting.
I never leave reviews but, although there was a great offer on the stay, we still paid quite a significant amount of money for what we got..

Handy for the city centre and connections to other places. In a quietish cul-de-sac. Had everything you needed.

Negative: Bathroom in need of refurb and some of the kitchen cupboard doors were broken

Accommodated us at short notice. Communication was good and even went out of way to allow us earlier access. Place was clean, tidy, warm and comfortable.
Would stay again if in the area.

good location.
Positive: the location was very good for the christmas market. various parks to walk the dogs. was very quiet area and parking was spot on.
Negative: the pillows where very thin. Bathtub had mould in areas. few cupboards where broken and the fridge door didn't shut very well.
We also came back one night to the light on in the locked shed and someone moving around in there. contact and cleared up that the garage attatched to the back was rented out and a cleaner was using it throughout the day and evening. Told they did not enter through the garden and then the person renting the property knocked on the back door, so they could indeed get into the garden. Did not feel very private accommodation after that. kept the back door locked and didn't leave the dogs out without watching them. Needs to be in the description as thought the shed was broken into when we arrived back late.

Cute english house 20 minutes walk from the center in a slightly dark but very quiet residential area.
the super organized host provided us with all the super detailed information about the house, we had a very good time!

I was in just for two nights and it was an excellent location. Walkable to city centre and a bus stop close by to take you to centre too.
Great if you have a dog too as there is a private yard that was great to use. Would definitely stay here again!
