It was not bad in all except the fact that we had to pay £27 not refundable which was not started at the time of booking
Positive: Location was good, kitchen and bathroom were clean.
Negative: The couch bed was dirty, the en-suite bathroom door key lock was broken and guests had to shout for help to be let out after using the bathroom. Which put some persons in anxiety and fear. The loft was really really disappointing due to the window without a blind, it was so uncomfortable and difficult to get a good rest and sleep.

I will never be staying here again I’ve been so stressed as it was my nieces wedding or else I would have complained as
Positive: I don’t like anything about it the room smelt really bad the carpet stunk bad the whole house smelt there was also bugs
Negative: The fact I paid so much money and it smelt so bad bugs everywhere I also took videos for evidence all the towels were dirty as well
5.0/5
Very good stay, house was very modern and clean and was perfect for a large group of people. Convenient to the city centre too.
2.0/5
Friendly and helpful host however our stay wasn’t very pleasant. No lock on the bathroom door which is inconvenient for people of a large group staying at this location. Lots of dust and spiders crawling around in the kitchen. There were two bathrooms advertised but when we arrived at the property there was only one. The neighbourhood wasn’t great very loud and careless people a few members of my group were shoved on the street, there is a constant smell of weed around and inside the property. When we arrived the key was all bent which made it very difficult to even enter the property however this has now been resolved. The photos are slightly misleading it is not as clean and a lot of the furniture showed on the photos to advertise this house is no longer there. Overall we were not impressed with the stay however the price is reasonable.

Negative: Only Bathroom

It was really nice and the house was well maintained. the hosts were very helpful as well.
4.0/5
Perfect for a short stay. 8 of us stayed for 1 night and it was very easy to find and the host was very helpful
3.0/5
we booked this as a group of 10 of us for an event, we arrived and the area was rough but we still had high hopes as the photos looked good, when we entered the house was run down and had dirt and scratches on the wall as well as dirty carpets and bedsheets as well as the front door being boarded up with wood. the house resembled the photos but seemed as though they had been taken a long time ago. we had 3 random men let themselves in with a key and when i told the host they ignored the message. there was also no heating which we weren't made aware of which really affected our stay as it was 7° in the house the whole night. when i told the host about this he said it was fine when the cleaners left and offered no help. the bathroom doors also had no locks which was inconvenient for such a big group of us. we felt unsafe throughout the night following those men coming in and struggled to sleep due to this and the cold.

Disappointing
Positive: The location was perfect
Negative: We stayed in this property between 10-14 April 2025. The pictures of this property really painted a good image, and the location was ideally suited. Upon arrival, the pictures on booking.com immediately appeared to be somewhat dated.

The property was not cleaned properly or even maintained to the standards of the pictures. The stairs and walls in particular were unkempt and dirty.

I have a disability and was notified 1 day before my stay that a temporary measure had been put in place to replace a tap broken by a previous guest. The temporary solution was a wrench attached to the water output. Turning this wrench on a consistent basis, which was a heavy-duty stiff tool, was a totally unacceptable solution.

I contacted the owner and was informed someone would attend during my stay to see what could be done. Nothing was done, and no one attended throughout my stay.

The stairs in the property were extremely steep, and this should have been mentioned for anyone with accessibility issues.

I had high hopes for this property but was left extremely disappointed all round.

Great stay, perfect for our needs and had everything we needed. Very clean. Good communication. However the kitchen tap was broken and needs repairing
4.0/5
convenient location to Nottingham centre. spacious for 6 adults. well equipped for what was needed.

downsides
- could do with a paint up and repair throughout
- bathrooms have no mirror
- main bathroom has no lock on it
- one bedroom door doesn't fit the frame properly

overall though. nice accommodation for a weekend trip and would certainly book it again going forward

We had a nice stay and it worked well as a base for doing the things we planned in Nottingham. We had a couple of issues with a broken tap and chair and there were a couple of basic things missing but the host was responsive and hopefully looking into getting bits fixed.

Great accomodation near the city centre with comfortable bedrooms and nice bathrooms.

Good house - did the job for what we needed. Clear and easy check in and nice having an 11am check out. Good communication. Kitchen tap was broken but didn't affect us as only one night. Nice decor. Not particularly nice area.

great place to stay, close to city

great accommodation.
3.0/5
We had a mixed experience during our stay. Upon arrival, we found snow on the ground and discovered the boiler had been switched off, leaving the house very cold. It took us about 1.5 hours to figure out how to turn the boiler back on using the reset button and some other buttons, which weren't mentioned in the instructions. We had contacted the managing agent, and they agreed to send an engineer whilst we were out that evening, even after we let them know that the boiler was working. We also struggled with the main bathroom shower, which never provided hot water, so we had to use the shower over bath instead. The ensuite shower worked fine. We let the cleaners know about the shower issue upon our departure, and they assured us they would notify the maintenance team. Overall, the house met our needs for attending a nearby wedding, though it would have been better if there were 8 chairs instead of 6 in the dining room, as we had to bring in 2 chairs from the garden.
4.0/5
Great place to stay at. Was very comfortable there.
