Jodie’s Bungalow is a stylish house in the pretty village of Ruddington just 3.7 miles from Nottingham city centre!

You’ll be next door to Rushcliffe Country Park yet only 5 miles from the Motorpoint Arena. It’s a great place to relax with three bedrooms plus sofa bed, Netflix, free Wifi, high-spec bathroom and an enclosed garden with dining table and swing seats.

Ideal for families and groups of friends with free on-site parking, easy check-in and a wide choice of pubs and restaurants.

Jodie’s Bungalow is freshly renovated throughout in cool relaxed style, with Wifi, views of the large garden and accommodation for up to 6 guests.

There is plenty of parking space with a long drive and space for up to 4 cars.

The hallway leads into the spacious living room which has a flat screen TV with Netflix and generous seating, converting into a double sofa bed ‒ ideal for relaxing with a good film.

The dining table seating six is next to the airy fully-fitted kitchen overlooking the garden. You’ll find a waterfall sink, ample workspace with a coffee maker, microwave, kettle and toaster and an island with bar stools.

There are three bedrooms, one with a double bed with a single trundle and another single, the second with a double bed, and the third with a bunk bed plus a pull out trundle. *Please note that this property is strictly limited to a maximum of 6 guests.*

The stylish new bathroom has a large rainfall shower.

Everyone can gather for a drink on the patio with its dining table and six chairs plus two swinging basket chairs overlooking the wide lawn, where there are deckchairs and an outhouse. The garden is enclosed by a hedge and trees, including an apple tree.

A quiet neighbourhood and a good size garden. Easy check-ins and responsive managers. Suited us very well with ground floor bedroom for disabled guest and a garden for our dog.

Good place in Ruddington for larger groups. Please note they require a security deposit to be paid before you get access.

Pictures in no way reflected the quality of the property. On arrival poor decorative state, not clean, smelt of wet dog. Driveway and garden not maintained. House not maintained. The kitchen is VERY poorly equipped. Pans dirty, one pan in the cupboard full of brown liquid. Asked for a £250 deposit prior to arrival - they thus should have money to make repairs where people damage but clearly just pocket the money and don’t do the repairs. Not worth the price paid. So far offered an 8% reduction in price. This in no way compensates. I would advise against staying in this property.

We had a good stay at the property. Communication was excellent and it was in an ideal location for us. Unfortunately there were a few maintenance issues - one of the bedroom radiators was not working and leaking, some of the flooring was damaged, there were lots of lightbulbs which needed replacing and lack of kitchen equipment (no bottle opener).
There were also a few homely items like lamps in the living room, more pillows on the beds, a welcome note with WiFi details on which would improve guests stay.

We had a nice month long stay at Clifton Road whilst relocating. The location is amazing. A very quiet cul de sac and super close to Ruddington village centre.

The beds are were very comfortable and the kitchen and garden were also spot on.

I really wasn’t sure whether to give it 5 stars or not as the trash situation was pretty dire. The bin bags from the last occupants were still there from what looked like a long time ago, and we were told to take the bins all the way down to the main road which is about 80/100 metres, only to be told the wrong collection dates so we had to bring it back and do it again. We ended up with about 3 weeks worth of garbage and had to do our own recycling.

If that could be sorted then it really would be a top notch property.

That being said we’ll definitely be back if we’re in the area again!

We had a comfortable stay at the property which is spacious and was in a great location for us. There was some issues with hot water and lack of curtain rails in some rooms but the host was quick to respond to these and hopefully fix any issues. Garden and large kitchen and living area great for family groups and property is private and beds comfortable. Would stay again with the issues fixed.

Good location, needs alot of maintenance as looking tatty and many things broken, bathroom door handle, no blind/curtains in one bedroom, dishwasher needs attention despite cleaning doesn’t drain, poor finishing everywhere, kitchen could be equipped a lot better and there are no drawers in any bedroom to put clothes just rails, awkward if your stay is 5 weeks like ours.
The heating and hot water broke 3 times during our stay ( in the middle of winter) we were refunded for those days though.
It’s a shame that more attention isn’t given to the property as the location is good. The bins are not collected when they are supposed to and there is old litter around the driveway which doesn’t look good.

Very lucky to have found this gem of a property at short notice. Moving house with a young baby and needed a bridging home so to speak - for a week. The host is very responsive to all communications, very very helpful and accommodating to small changes and the property itself is excellent. Really same and cosy, they had a Christmas tree set up with the lights on. Felt right at home straight away.

We stayed at the house for 2 months while our own house was being renovated. The property had recently been renovated as well and whilst there were a few problems these were all a result of the builders not quite doing what they had promised or not doing a great job. The communication we had with Liam and the team was very fast and responsive and they were very proactive in trying to help us fix the issues we faced.

For a friends or big family getaway, this is a fine place to be. The location is quiet. Plenty of space and the big private garden is a plus. We slept well. The tv is great with lots of streaming services. Wifi was good, which was important as I needed to study. I couldn't use the desk as it was too cold in that area but the kitchen table is fine too. Great to have a little hoover available.

All in all a really fine place to stay, especially for younger people - but not top end of that's what you are looking for.

The bungalow is as beautiful as the photos show! We felt right at home and had a great stay. A small note for families, it's not the most baby-friendly due to automatic bright lighting in the hallways and no curtains in the living room, but you can make it work! We would definitely come again :)
